First Lace Project

Lace seems really complicated, especially if you try reading a pattern full of k2tog's, ssk's and yo's. Just what is a yo, anyway?

We will learn how to use k2tog, ssk and yo to create a beautiful lace scarf or shawl. At the same time, we will practice preventing, correcting and recovering from mistakes in lace.

Skills required:
Know how to knit and purl.

Skills Learned:
Lace techniques including k2tog, ssk and yo; setting life-lines and fixing lace mistakes; reading lace charts.
